Radiesse®

Radiesse® is a biostimulating dermal filler comprised of microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite. The tiny particles are suspended in a gel carrier which stimulates new collagen formation (collegenesis) over time as the microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite are absorbed.

It is a gourmet product for facial contouring and to enhance the cheeks, jaw and chin regions. Dr. Yokoyama loves this product and uses it as a liquid implant, depending on the areas being treated. Other dermal fillers can be layered on top for optimal results. Restylane Lyft® can also be used as a liquid implant. Dr. Yokoyama finds it most useful to contour the cheeks and melolabial folds.

The results are often dramatic and can last up to 6-12 months. As with any filler, touch ups are essential to optimize your results.
